GFO-Bio is a biological core ontology based on our top-level ontology General Formal Ontology (GFO). It is developed in joint efforts with the Bioinformatics Group lead by Dr. Janet Kelso at the local Max-Planck Institute of Evolutionary Anthropology (MPI-EVA).
